British Royalty pays an official visit to Cadcorp

HRH The Duke of York congratulates Cadcorp on its export achievements in his role as the UK's Special Representative for International Trade and Investment

prince andrew visitDigital mapping and geographic information systems (GIS) software developer Cadcorp received an official visit from His Royal Highness, The Duke of York on Thursday, 22 February. His Royal Highness was there at the invitation of Business Link Hertfordshire in his role as the UK’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, to acknowledge Cadcorp’s export achievements over recent years.After meeting members of the Cadcorp board of directors, including Mike O’Neil, managing director, Martin McGarry, sales director and Martin Daly, technical director, The Duke of York was given a short presentation by Mr O’Neil introducing the company, its markets, business partners, end users, and strategy for successful exporting. As Mr O’Neil explained to His Royal Highness, some 60% of Cadcorp sales are export-led, including Europe, Japan and the Far East, Australia and USA.
